Haha, great point actually. I didn't even elaborate the idea, sorry.
The idea is very simple: lets use the community brainpower and develop an EA together.
I have rough steps in mind for this to work:
- i open a topic on this forum (by that i accept also a role of "moderator" or "project manager" of some kind and take care that the topic stays on track and activities are properly delegated)
- then every commentator is welcome to chip an idea
That is enough for step 1, if the debate lifts up im confident we can build from that. No harm or risk for anyone even if idea fails and the topic dies. But if it works out, hmm, just imagine ... then the only problem will be, how to split the profits fairly, but i think that is the sweet problem, hahaha!
In general i think in forums (especially like community forums like this one) there is a lot, a lot of brainpower potential that never gets to shine just because it is all over the place and lost in floods of posts. With smart moderator only the best ideas and activity can be picked out and put to use.
For example, PiranoCapital is a team of three. I used the same approach and found my two partners via forums. Two of us from Slovenia, one from Switzerland (i found this guy on ForexFactory and he works for UBS in marketing). The other Slovenian is a university professor (MIT level or better even, real genius if you ask me) specialized in statistics, programming, mechanics, .... So we're talking top-shelf people. Working on our (originally it was just mine) project together. For free. In appr. 1 year we made our EA from scratch. 6 months out of that it was allready on live market tested, now we're here 2 months and constantly improving our EA, ... i think you got the point, hehe!
So, that is a practical example (how i put the right people together) allready working out, why not do the same, just a bigger team. I can do it if community is willing to participate.
If you ask me, mechanical perpetuum mobile is impossible, but "imagination" perpetuum mobile - it can be done!!
Here, i elaborated a little bit. So any feedback is welcome.
