I think we're talking about almost the same thing here. The only difference is that you're referring to how the Ex affects our rating algo in DarwinIA and I am talking about how our Ex IA affects the D-Score which is more or less the same
Let me explain:
DARWINIA & EX ATTRIBUTE => Our rating algo in DarwinIA is based on 3 criterias (D-Score, Darwin monthly return and activity %). Being the D-Score one of them, the Ex affects the D-Score and therefore the final ranking in DarwinIA. You may read further about our formula
My issue with that is that they are taking investment away from good strategies but basically playing the system, not by being better. FYW is possibly the closest example I can see. Currently 13th in DarwinIA, DD 2.2x return, DScore 57.7, hasn't made a new high since August 2016 and generally in the last year seems to have 1-2 good months before a string of losses.
I don´t share your opinion about FYW and I don´t think it'd be unfair if this Darwin received AuM. I'd appreciate if you could share with everyone which Darwins deserve DarwinIA funding and aren't getting any so we can compare them with FYW for instance.
The Pf attribute is the one that carries the highest weight in the calculation of the D-Score and therefore in the rating algo in DarwinIA.
FYI, the D-Score is calculated thanks to a combination of 10 IAs (from
Rs to Cp). Ex and Mc -or better said, a combination of the two- are only used as a penalty factor to the final grade. The lower the Ex/Mc the severer the penalization applied to the final D-Score grade and viceversa. A 10 in both Ex and Mc would mean that the D-Score grade is only determined by the IAs ranging from Rs to Cp without including the Ex and Mc
I am afraid you cannot yield this data automatically.Nonetheless, I recommend you to create a filter, select only Darwins with 10 in Ex as a criteria, order by D-Score and check if they have DarwinIA AuM
May I wish you a great weekend!
