HeG Live Portfolio

Hi,

I start one portfolio this week and plan to post updates of the portfolio 2 or 4 times a month during weekends.

Here is my portfolio ( Sorted by P/L )

Right now 12 Darwins meet my requirement.

Some of the requirement is

  • Be in profits month/year…
  • D-Score
  • Have investors
    and some more.

This account is live so we get real stuffs.

Feel free to comment why I should remove one Darwins or add one to my portfolio.

Here is my weekly update.
Trade size adjusted and some Darwin in and other out.

Some darwins perform other need to move up or I will remove them.

So your idea is that a trader/strategy has to make new highs every week?

Hi,

No need to have highs every week. I want darwins generating gains on 1 month / 3 months / 6months / 12 moths.

I also have other filters but want to have Darwins trending up

Of course you can do 1-2 bad weeks but you need overall uptrend.
All in my list are such Darwins.

Hi,

If you know any Darwins that should be in my list let me know and I will see why I do not pick it

Your portfolio makes sense, a good starting point. :+1:

If you noticed from my portfolio topic I do not disclose my picks anymore but I can suggest you a couple of gems:

  1. WFJ (algo)
  2. UYZ (manual)

Hi @CavaliereVerde

Why so? Should I also stop to post mine?

I will check your suggestions

That’s an investor decision up to you.

I would like to become a portfolio provider, what now Darwinex is calling Mendel .
I think to be very close to an alpha portfolio, bu it was so also 1 year ago and 2 years ago… :joy: :joy: :joy:

Yes good systems but one main filter removed them.

I will have them on my radar

I assume that these portfolios will (have to) be public.

If you have a ruleset it is important to stick to it, just like trading.

If your results will be positive it will mean that your filter and your rotation timeframe (or exit rules) are working.

Hi,

I will review my rules each 3 months. I will stick to it.
Still want to get good Darwins so I can see why I do not pick them. Like in trading you need to be open minded.
I hope I’m open minded

Maybe you have a filter with Capacity (that makes sense  )

If that is the problem I can recommend ULI , by @javicolonbo , one of the founders of Darwinex .

Added to my radar but can not be part of my portfolio right now.
Filtered out for same reasons as before. Maybe I’m to hard.

PM (anyone ) and I can tell you why I remove them.

Hi,

Market change cleaned even more my account/portfolio

I need to review my portfolio rules as I’m more in cash then in Darwins.

I’m probably better trader ( EOD ) then protfolio manager

Open to advice which “filter” you use.
