Historical darwindata productid

quote files on the FTP server are named like {DARWIN_TICKER}.{PRODUCT_RISK}.{COLOUR}_{PRODUCTID}_YYYY-MM-DD.HH.csv.gz

The documentation PDF does not include details about {PRODUCTID}. This appears to change for some darwins over time, for some there are multiple quotes at the same time but with different {PRODUCTID}

Can you provide more information about this?

Hi @supercachai,
In general, a “PRODUCTID” identifies a Darwin - Risk combination. For instance, the product Darwin NTR risk 3 is considered a different product to NTR risk 4. But for the same darwin short name and risk the product id does not change over time.

Kind Regards

Hi @jesusbc,
ok that makes sense, thank you!
