Madof was gathering investors cheating on them and at the same time was disguising his acts (non existent virtual operations) to most of all of his partners. Past the context, which is the one of closely monitored operations by an external authority for Darwinex, you can always fear/doubt anyone to be untrustful and a Judah between your own collaborators (Kerviel). Imho, this is a kind of thought you can bring in all aspects of one’s life, so also something to deal with yourself.
did you do your maths ?!
Or are you implying they could have found a miracle formula ? Then better shut Darwinex and trade. Here, I’m not quite convinced.
Also take into consideration that DarwinIA prizes are Darwinex own funds. If they’d wish to steal the show, they could instead change the conditions, like lower the Prizepool or call it quit. DarwinIA remains an incentive to glue a community. You wouldn’t see DarwinIA losers shout about it on the roofs if they were all excluded from the competition. The communication goal would fade. I am having a hard time to buy any logic of collusion, even to indirectly drag external investors for personal motivations. I just don’t, sorry. However, I see sheer passion through foot wet.
Personally, I am fine with Darwinex team members participating into Darwins, few or numerous be they, even if it were to create some challenge (we’re not there, neither to the point of “blocking” the experience, very far !).
Also glad some of them know quite a big deal about trading (which is quite uncommon and unlike all the commercials hired in this industry) even to the point of continuing to validate it throuh personal practice and therefore, feedback to benefit us indirectly. Because I am not believing that Bill Gates or Steve Jobs were only designing their product from 3D virtual conception and idea sketches.
All in all, the risk you imagine and consequences seem minimal to me, compared to the quality of the daily job maintained from their team’s varied backgrounds. Then again, to each his own. You’re perfectly entitled to your opnion
