I started a real Live trading account in October/2018 that I decided not to disclose for personal reasons. All the "supposedly good darwins" were there... You all know how things have been evolving for those darwins the past months. It seems that as investor, I'm a shitty one.
I had a 24% DD.
I've been panicking during months, watching my equity going south in a straight line.
And I'm tired. Tired of "good" darwins that suddenly go nuts. Tired of not being able to not lose too much. Tired of search for new entry/exit rules. Tired of living with so much stress. And above all, tired of watch every day how my money evaporates.
I was tempted to close the account and put the money in stocks, where I'm more comfortable. But I didn't despair. I strongly believe in darwinex and in its offering. And I really think that it is possible to make money here as investor. I even started trading (although this didn't helped to the stress, I love programming so I guess I just couldn't avoid it).
Today I sold all my remaining darwins.
Then, I equal weighted a new list with 13 darwins, and bought all of them.
Yes, I'm not waiting until DD for a darwin, and I'm not waiting for a good entry moment. I never know when that's going to happen, and a portfolio must stand on its own. May be I'm wrong, time will tell, but I approach this as an ETF. If the investment thesis for these darwins makes sense, it doesn't matter too much the exact entry moment.
So, this is my new portfolio. If it goes bad again, I'll start to think that I'd better seed tomatoes or something like that.
