I am not sure if you are aware that not having 100% Activity is not a bad situation or something similar.
Today is the last day and only 7 DARWINs in the Top 48 have reached 100% Activity. In fact, only 2 from the Top 10 (position 6 and 7 at this moment).
@miguelrDarwinex, let´s be more specific about this point. Saying that we don´t need to have 100% activity to rank top 48 is true, but it is NOT all the truth. These are the numbers:
Among the top 48 darwins ranked in April for Darwinia: * 44 of them have 94% or more activity. * ONLY 4 have 88% to 94% * Darwins with ****less than 88% : NONE
If you see
the first 100 darwins ranked, ONLY 2 have less than 90% activity (with 89% and 88% each).
That´s how heavy Activity impacts the ranking. I´d state it is true to say that activity is probably the most weighted parameter in Darwinia. And it is heavily penalized when it is a little bit low.
In other hand, I understand and also I agree you have to trade normal to rank in Darwinia, and this is why I proposed to give a window from 85% to 115% to get 100%. Or let´s say, don´t weight activity like other parameters, instead make it a condition. I mean ¨
once a darwin reaches 85% automatically gets full activity recognition, if a darwin doesn´t reach at least 85% at the end of the month, just it can´t get any allocation, period. If it surpasses 115% it is also automatically out¨.
This way you
prevent someone having a good week to rest the rest of the month, and also you don´t force anyone who is trading normal (just because a given month there are less trade opportunities than previous months) to overtrade and risk his account, or even worse risk the investors or Darwinex allocations.
I don´t think there is any reason this Activity condition can´t be changed to protect and improve everybody interests.
Otherwise, please explain.
