Trading is not for income most definitely.......I can recall clamouring a couple months aback to have an annual management fee paid monthly for DARWINs.
I think Darwinex is looking forward to these kinds of success stories
"Part time talented undercapitialized trader starts trading launches DARWIN and is able to start managing a significant amount of AUM to start a full time trading career and open up a decent office maybe hire some staff, marketing, administration, etc now at this point monthly obligations start to roll in....."
The management fee could be shared between trader and Darwinex (maybe to be put back into DarwinIA as capital allocations or sumthing) but i think its a missing piece to actually getting those kinds of success stories becoming a reality.
Think about how feasible that business model is going to be if there is no monthly income to take care of the existing monthly obligations or to improve the office operations. How else is a part time trader to make a transition if significant AUM comes under management?
